An OpenGL/C++ project created to showcase technical features learned in CSE 167: Introduction to Computer Graphics at the University of California, San Diego.

Traverse through a surreal universe on a star and escape reality.

  • Camera movement along a Bezier curve
  • Particle effect by comets
  • Collision detection using bounding spheres around comets so they disappear after hitting a planet/sun
  • Lens flare with occlusion
  • Keyboard and mouse controls

Created 3D models, textures, concept design, lens flare, and keyboard/mouse controls.
